Hillbank Booth at Barrett Jackson Cobras and GT40 pictured

Hillbank Motor Corporation displayed a variety of Performance vehicles at the Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, last week.

The range included Shelby Cobras and Superformance MKIII, which are Shelby Licensed, Shelby and Superformance 289 models, a range of MKI and MKII and Toolroom GT40s, a 1963 reproduction of a Corvette Grand Sport, and finally, a prime example of a Shelby Daytona Coupe.

The Cobras are always the crowd favorites, and there was a large variety of makes, colors, and Models, along with various engine packages from Mild to wild.

  • We were fortunate to have a 50th Anniversary GT40 on display. These special editions were built as a tribute toolroom copy of GT40 P1075 that successfully won Le Mans in 1969. While this is a pure race car, we also had several street versions.
  • One of our favorites was a Shelby cobras CSX7994 painted in Viking blue with race livery paint touches, including yellow driver stripes and meatballs ready to receive your favorite number or one of the historic race numbers.
  • The Shelby Daytona Coupe is a street version of the famous Shelby Daytona Coupes that won the 1965 International Championship in the GT class. Just like the originals, this one was also designed by Peter Brock, of International fame. This Shelby Daytona CSX9148 was powered by an Aluminum MMR Coyote engine breathing through Garrett Motion Twin Turbos pushing over 1,300 RWHP on Race Fuel and over 700HP on High Octane Pump Gas.

Hillbank Motor Corporation would like to thank everyone who visited. Seeing so many of our owners and potential customers was wonderful, and our sales team enjoyed the interaction.

We look forward to seeing more of you at future events, and don’t be shy; pay us a visit at our Irvine, CA, facility or look at out current inventory at https://www.hillbankusa.com/vehicles.
