1965 Cobra Superformance MKIII 427SC
Superformance MKIII Cobra 427SC SP03242 is painted in a menacing Viper Steel Grey with Jet Black Twin Le Mans Stipes and Monza Red Pin Stripes. Finished with all chrome trim on headlights, quick jacks, turn signals, roll bar, and even the nickle-plated brass Windscreen frame. This roller has Clear Bra paint protection on the Nose and Rear Fenders. 18" 2-Peice Aluminum Pin Drive Wheels with that are coated to match the stripe package and Sticky Nitto Tires.
On the inside, SP03242 has period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas Ammeter Gauge. The doors are secured by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe for increased strength and support. Dash, Steering Wheel, and Steel Framed Seats are wrapped in German Leather. The Seats are finished with period correct webbing for comfort and aesthetics.
All Superformance MKIII's feature a high performance aluminum radiator with twin electric fans that are thermostatically controlled. Also included this MKIII's is a period correct oil cooler with shroud and fittings. All Superformance MKIII's come standard with aluminum Limited Slip Differentials and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes. The Suspension is brand new custom crafted coil-over suspension with double wishbone front and rear suspension.
Inside the Engine bay sits a Roush Performance 427SR making 515HP with Clear Coat Enamel Option on the cast manifold. This engine is mated to Tremec TKO600 5 Speed Manual Transmission and the wheels are driven by a ZF Limited Slip Differential. The Headers and Side Pipes are Ceramic Coated for Performance and Aesthetics.
