In 1964 Carroll Shelby took the 289 Cobra to the next level of competition. Shelby American introduced a new Grand Tourer in 2007, the CSX9000. Based on a new chassis and with a body designed again by Peter Brock. These CSX9000's were made out of Fiberglass to offer a sturdy, durable Grand Touring Daytona Coupe. Built with today's modern Amenities such as Power Steering, Power Windows, Air Conditioning, and Power Door Locks, The CSX9000 was the what the original Daytona was always capable of being.
