1965 Cobra Superformance MKIII 427SC
Superformance MKIII Cobra 427SC SP00812 is painted in a deep Jet Black. Finished with all chrome trim on headlights, turn signals, and even the nickle-plated brass Windscreen frame. This roller has 15" Halibrand Pin Drive Wheels with Radial Tires.
On the inside, SP00812 has period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas Ammeter Gauge with Reverse wind Speedometer. The doors are secured by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe for increased strength and support. Dashes are wrapped in leather as are the steel framed seats which offer period correct webbing for comfort and aesthetics.
All Superformance MKIII's feature a high performance aluminum radiator with twin electric fans that are thermostatically controlled. Also included this MKIII's is a period correct oil cooler with shroud and fittings. All Superformance MKIII's come standard with Limited Slip Differentials and Power Disc Brakes. The Suspension is fully independent, custom crafted coil-overs with double wishbones front and rear.
Inside the Engine bay sits a Coast High Performance 427 Cubic Inch Windsor Based V8 making over 500 Horsepower. This engine is mated to Tremec 5 Speed Manual Transmission and the wheels are driven by a Ford Limited Slip Differential. The Headers and Side Pipes are Ceramic Coated. The Engine was put in the car just over 5,000 miles ago in 2007.
