1967 Maserati Ghibli

Maserati Ghibli was first produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Maserati: the AM115, a V8 grand tourer produced from 1967 to 1973

The Ghibli's steel body, characterized by a low, shark-shaped nose, was designed by a young Giorgetto Giugiaro, then working at Ghia. The car features pop-up headlamps, leather front sport seats, two rear cushion seats and alloy wheels. Making the Ghibli a beautiful 2-door 2+2 fastback coupé. Deliveries of the first production Ghibli's started in March 1967. Only 1,170 coupés were produced over 6 production years.

The Ghibli has a tubular frame with a separate body. Front suspension uses double wishbone type, coaxial dampers and coil springs, and an anti-roll bar. At the rear there is a live axle on semi-elliptic springs, with a single longitudinal torque arm, hydraulic dampers and an anti-roll bar. Magnesium wheels were standard. Maserati fitted the Ghibli with two independent 50 L (13.2 US gal) fuel tanks, with two fuel access panels on either side of the roof pillars.

It is now powered by a 350 small block with a 5-speed manual and has been completely sorted. Since 2013, the current owner has invested over $40,000 in paint, body, and trim. All paint, chrome, trim, and especially the new leather and carpeted interior is in excellent concourse quality condition with painstaking attention to detail. The current owner also has invested $47,000 on all mechanical fixtures and maintenance, ensuring this Ghibli runs as smooth as any current restomod, regardless of Make, but none can touch the aesthetics of this beautiful 1967 Maserati Ghibli.
