Overview

1969 GT40 MKI

GT40s are all the rage since the academy award winning blockbuster “Ford v Ferrari” hit the big screen late last year. The story of Carroll Shelby, Ken Miles and the GT40s that beat Ferrari at Le Mans put these cars into the limelight worldwide. With people itching to get their own 40-inch-tall “racecar."

Authenticity was the Superformance engineers' goal when recreating the GT40. It carries the GT40/P chassis number and is built to the exact standards of the car back in the 1960's. It is so authentic that over two thirds of the rolling chassis parts are interchangeable with the original GT40's.

The most sought after paint scheme is the Gulf Livery, and P2228 is dressed in it. Other features include Orange Center 15" Aluminum BRM Wheels, painted mirrors, Alcantara Seats and Center Console, Speedhut Legacy Electronic gauges with GPS Speedometer, push button nose lift for all driveways, and Factory Air Conditioning to cool you down.

Equipped with a Rush performance 427 Windsor with 8 stack Individual Throttle body fuel injection pumping out 550HP. With so much power, a stout 5 Speed Transaxle is necessary to deliver the power to the pavement and push this car.

GT40P2228 is titled in Nevada as a 1966.. GT40P2228 has just over 1,500 miles and is currently available for $209,950.
