1965 Shelby Cobra

Thunder down the road in style behind the wheel of this powerful Superformance MKIII roadster. Superformance SP02251 may be the most exciting sports cars to come through our shop and its smog exemption certificate will make it easy to register almost anywhere in the USA.

Painted titanium with red stripes that are accented by black pin stripes, the car makes a bold yet elegant statement. The convertible rides on traditional 15” Halibrand style knock off wheels shod with high performance tires.

The car is pushed through the corners by a Roush 342R Ford V8 churning out 460HP and an incredible 429 foot pounds of torque. The engine sends its power to the rear tires through a robust 5-speed Tremec transmission.

The rear of the car stays planted due to a Dana independent rear suspension. Disc four piston Wilwood brakes with power assist gives this MKIII amazing stopping power while the Bilstein coil-over shocks, as well as upgraded front and rear sway bars maximize the car's handling.

SP02251 has a black leather steering wheel. The period correct dash carries Smith instrument gauges, Lucas toggle switches, an amp gauge and a 180 mph reverse speedometer. The cockpit has leather throughout and the doors are secured by original style carriage latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around the steel subframe for increased strength and support. The roadster comes with a rare Jordan Shifter, Cobra floor mats and trickle charger.

The Superformance MKIII is a meticulously engineered and crafted reproduction of the original, built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. No expense was spared in recreating the legendary car, ensuring an authentic sports car experience.

SP02251 has complete service records and comes with a SB100 Smog Exemption certificate. It is a titled in California with 11,962 miles and is available for only $89,950.
