Shelby 427 Cobra CSX6138

The future is unlimited in this Shelby Cobra 427 CSX6000 Continuation Series (CSX6138). Just as Carroll Shelby broke the mold when he introduced American V8 muscle to a lithe British sports car body, the next owner of this Cobra will be able to carve a distinct path by selecting the big-block Ford V8 of his choice to complete this rolling chassis.

The hand laid fiberglass 427 body is finished in Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White twin stripes. Exterior detailing includes a hood scoop with insert, polished driver-side roll hoop, 15-inch Halibrand-style wheels, quick jacks, original style windshield with wiper system, and original style lights, indicators, catches, and fittings.

The CSX6000 series was designed to deliver authentic sports car performance with modern upgrades, and the combination of vintage design and contemporary improvements elevates the 427 Cobra to new levels. CSX6000 Continuation Cobras are built with a fortified 4-inch diameter DOM steel frame, and dual A-arm, coil-over shock, four wheel independent suspension. This example is equipped with Shelby 4-piston disc brakes, a Shelby original style differential with 3.54:1 gearing, aluminum radiator with fans, and polished surge tank.

The original style dash houses a 427 S/C gauge set and dash layout, highlighted by a 15-inch wood-rimmed steering wheel with Shelby cap. The leather seats are nestled in a fully carpeted interior.
