1969 Ford GT40
A Gulf Liveried GT40 won the 24-hours of Le Mans in 1968 and 1969, cementing the sports car's place in racing history. One of the nicest continuation GT40's in the world, P/2342 is a tribute to that incredible feat and would be the centerpiece of any collection.
This GT40 was custom built clad with the famous 1968/1969 LeMans Winning Gulf Oil Blue and Orange Livery.
Powered by a Roush 427IR, no expense was spared to build the spectacular, race spec V8. Roush Performance build this engine to be able to dominate on the track and Stop the Show at your local the 4th of July Parade. The V8 features premium components including Dart Block, AFR Heads, 8 Stack Individual Throttle Body electronic Fuel Injection, and makes a ground shaking 560 HP. The twisted Bundle-Of-Snakes 180-degree ceramic coated headers scavenge the exhaust. Shifting is smooth with the original ZF Style 5-Speed Transaxle. Power goes to the ground through super sticky Avon CR6ZZTires through Gulf Orange BRM Style Aluminum Wheels held on by Polished Aluminum 3-Ear Knock Off Spinners.
