Possibly the most famous race car of all time. The Gulf GT40. One of the reasons it's fame is so widespread is it's staple as the only car to win the famed 24 Le Mans race 2 years in a row. The same car, different drivers, and different liveries. Everyone knows the the #6 1969 livery, but you can't win it twice if you don't win the first race. That brings us to GT40P2458. This GT40 doesn't forget where it came from sporting the famous "Double Horseshoe" livery of 1968. Even showing off the blue pit light.
GT40P2458 is powered by a Roush 427IR Crate and engine and is paired to a Quaife 5 Speed Transaxle. This is by far and away the most popular drivetrain option for GT40's since Superformance changed the game 20 years ago. Reviving the original steel Monocoque chassis.
The interior features original Smith Brand Gauges and Right Hand Drive with Right Hand Sill Rod Driven Shifter. With Air Conditioning, Leather seats, Aluminum Wheels, and AVON CR6ZZ Tires, GT40P2458 looks like the original 1968 racecar, but drives and feels like a modern Supercar.
With only 500 miles and titled under CA Smog Exempt SB100, GT40P2458 is available for $279,950.
