Superformance MKIII (SP01842)
Seeking a sports car that stirs your soul and creates a lifetime of priceless memories? You've found it with this Superformance MKIII!
SP01842 cuts a can't-miss profile in its Titanium paint with Black stripes and ceramic-covered side pipes. The 17-inch pin drive “Halibrand” style wheels and Kumho performance tires give the car an aggressive stance and the roadster looks great doing it.
The magic of the driving experience begins underhood with a mighty Roush 427R V8 with ceramic-coated headers. The powerful engine is teamed with a robust Tremec TKO manual transmission. Power disc 4-piston Wilwood brakes with stainless steel lines and power assist provides this MKIII with amazing stopping power while the fully independent front and rear suspension with custom-crafted coil-over shocks maximize the car's handling.
The cockpit ensures an authentic sports car experience with period gauges and switches, and original style pedals, catches and fittings. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around the steel subframe for increased strength and support. The chassis-mounted stainless steel roll bar provides additional support as well as an aesthetic focal point. The glove box door is signed by Carroll Shelby, providing an irreplaceable historical connection for this unique Cobra tribute car.
The Superformance MKIII is a meticulously engineered and crafted reproduction of the original, built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. No expense was spared in recreating the legendary car.
SP01842 comes with the optional soft top and tonneau cover. It is titled as a 1966 Shelby with 20,110 miles, and is available for only $94,950.
